Fresh with innovation, filled with tradition

The new fresh line

In the last months of 2022, La Pasta di Camerino launched a new line of fresh pasta under its historic brand, widely known by consumers as a symbol of quality, craftmanship, tradition and excellence. The philosophy behind this new product remains to be connected to our heritage: only the finest ingredients from a 100% Italian supply chain, with an inimitable texture and consistency achieved using 8 eggs per kg of semolina. The artisanal production process includes slow triple kneading at low temperatures and bronze wiredrawing.

Artisanal production

The slow process evokes traditional craftsmanship, the only method that gives pasta its rough surface and ability to hold all the sauce. True to ancient recipes, our pasta sheets enclose a unique filling made with the finest local meats and Italian ingredients, carefully selected from regional DOP and IGP excellences: Prosciutto di Parma DOP, Vitellone Bianco dell’Appennino Centrale IGP, Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, Ricotta di Colfiorito, Mortadella Bologna IGP, and Italian Pork.

More sustainable with Halopack

Furthermore, sensitive to environmental impact and in collaboration with Boxmarche, we have chosen innovative and sustainable packaging. For the filled pasta line, the product is stored in a standalone FSC® paper box and protected by a thin transparent plastic bag. This sustainable packaging uses 70% less plastic compared to traditional PET trays. The long pasta and lasagna lines are packaged in a protective atmosphere, using the recyclable Halopack tray in partnership with Boxmarche, which can be recycled with paper. We are the first in this market to have adopted this environmentally friendly solution.

Successful news

Thanks to the features presented, success has come quickly, and we are already seeing significant market shares with prospects of becoming leaders. We are working on improving the distribution of the new fresh pasta products, highlighting the uniqueness of our egg pasta sheets, which are already well-known and appreciated by consumers, as well as the excellence of the carefully selected ingredients for the filling, in addition to the company’s commitment to sustainability and environmental respect. The innovations are not over, as we are also working on the launch of additional gourmet recipes.

A clear supply chain

On a commercial level, we plan to offer the possibility of purchasing fresh pasta through our e-commerce platform, while maintaining zero shipping costs, as with all our products. We were the first to establish a relationship of complete transparency with the consumer by guaranteeing traceability of the supply chain, available through the QR code on every package. In line with our commitment to those who choose our products, we have once again demonstrated our special attention to sustainability by creating, unique in the fresh pasta market, a fully recyclable package to protect the environment and help preserve it by reducing plastic production by 70%.
