Boxmarche's take on conventional pan bands TVS' Tia Ovenware Line has been created to highlight the product wrapped in it. The challenge was to design a band that could fit in the cookware while creating a top halo running around the edges.
This set of bands comes from the joint work of TVS artwork design team and Boxmarche, a team-up that puts together visual aesthetics and paper industry expertise. Tia ovenware line was created to lure in consumers with impressing artwork: the top silver layer around the edges brightens up the cookware’s black surfaces thus creating a sort of halo highlighting the lettering inside of it.
The printed handwriting on the band reminds us of those old cooking notebook where our grannies would write down cake recipes.
“No doubt the jury realized it was a striking example of how packaging can add value to a product. Packaging brings out the product’s best features: the silver layer, for instance, highlights the edges and catches consumers’ attention while allowing for an easy reading of product-related information. Its attentive design and superb printing enhance the perceived quality of the end-product.”
The silver layer stands out in the store, making the set even more attractive. The eye-catching band turns Tia into a precious tool for those who want to try their hand on home baking. Our highly innovative and original solution was to use a traditional die cutting system and no glue at all to create an easy-to-apply and effective package. Made of 100% recyclable cardboard.
